Terms of Use

Battle Vault — last updated: 20 August 2026

The gist. Battle Vault is a deduction game. It is free, plays solo or across two devices, and offers optional purchases. By installing it, you accept the terms below.

1. Who publishes the game

Battle Vault is published by J-Philippe Monniez, an independent developer acting as a private individual, under the name TechDevStudio89. Contact: contact.techdevstudio@gmail.com

2. What you may do

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the game on devices you own. You may play as much as you like, alone or with anyone you choose.

3. What you may not do

4. Purchases

The game offers optional purchases, handled by your device's store, which alone collects payment.

These purchases give access to digital content delivered immediately: in-game currency, cosmetic items, removal of limitations. You acknowledge that, once the content has been delivered, the statutory right of withdrawal no longer applies.

Refund requests are governed by the rules of the store concerned and must be addressed to it. We can help you understand the process, but we do not issue refunds ourselves.

Purchased content is tied to the store account used to buy it, not to your device. It can be recovered using the game's "restore purchases" function.

5. Progress and in-game items

Progress, coins, energy and cosmetic items have no monetary value and cannot be traded, resold or converted into money.

⚠️ This data lives on your device. It may be lost if you uninstall the game, change device, or clear the app's data. Enabling Android's automatic backup reduces that risk without removing it. We cannot restore lost progress, as we hold no copy of it.

6. Multi-device games

Two-device games run over a local network, without a server: they depend on your network, your devices and their settings. We cannot guarantee that a session will work in every configuration.

You are responsible for what you send to other players, starting with the nickname you display.

7. Advertising

The game offers optional video ads in exchange for an in-game benefit: you are never required to watch them, and the game remains fully playable without.

It also shows ads between games, which you did not ask for. They do not appear during your first twenty games, and their frequency then increases with the number of games played. Buying the Patron pack removes them for good — it does not remove the videos you choose to watch, since those earn you something.

Ad content is chosen by the ad network, not by us.

8. Availability and changes

The game is provided "as is". We strive to keep it working correctly, without being able to guarantee it is free of defects. We may change it, adjust its balancing, or stop maintaining it. Where relevant, notice will be given through an update or the store listing.

9. Liability

We cannot be held liable for lost progress, unavailability of the game, or damage arising from use that does not comply with these terms. Nothing here seeks to exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, in particular for gross negligence or personal injury.

10. Ownership

The game, its name, artwork, music and code remain the property of their author. Credits for third-party assets appear in the game's "Credits" screen.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first; failing that, the French courts have jurisdiction. You may also use a consumer mediator free of charge.

12. Changes to these terms

These terms may be amended. The last update date appears at the top of this page; continued use of the game constitutes acceptance of the version in force.
